Razer cortex games10/4/2023 ![]() ![]() What penalties do players face for bad behavior? That is why we have dedicated systems to detect AFKs, queue dodging, and friendly fire-to hopefully reduce the number of Agents who decide to go rogue. Sorry, Agent, but that information is only available on a need-to-know basis-and what you need to know is that those systems are in place for your protection! Planting the Spike under a hail of enemy fire is challenging enough without worrying about friendly fire or your teammates disappearing mid-match. Queue dodging is when a player leaves the Agent select screen by disconnecting from the server, causing their team to be down a member when the match begins.įriendly fire happens when a player injures or kills a teammate using their Agent's ability. Simply put, a person is considered AFK if they're on the field but not participating in the match, putting their team at a disadvantage. ![]() AFK? Queue Dodging? Friendly Fire? What do those even mean?ĪFK is short for Away From Keyboard, meaning the player is either not at their computer or are behaving like they aren't there by not moving their Agent or communicating. Going AFK, queue dodging, or committing friendly fire not only damages your team's chances of winning, but puts you in line to face the consequences. This means staying in the game and giving it your best shot. Is my other choice to find an image editing package that is NOT for sale in the MS store and pray MS never pick it up? That would be ridiculous. We hold our Agents to the highest standards and expect you all to be on your best behavior. I am an old geezer for whom the smartphone world largely does not apply, I grew up in a simpler world where nobody was trying to exploit the financial rewards of selling privileged information by invading my privacy to collect computer data. Am I to understand that because AFFINITY is sold by MS I have lost the choice of denying MS access to my files? Have I misunderstood? It seems quite incredible to me. This seems to say that my legally owned AFFINITY will no longer work on my legally owned DELL PC if I deny to MS access to my pictures. It is not clear to me what this means and I hope someone can explain. Now in the MS Store is AFFINITY PHOTO, so it is in the category defined in the privacy statement. "If you deny access, apps that are available in the MS Store on W10 will be blocked from accessing the picture library." In the W10 privacy/app permissions/pictures screen there is the following statement: I use some photo editing software, AFFINITY PHOTO, I bought it about a year ago and will install it on the new machine however this means downloading the software from AFFINITY where I have a key. Something about one specific privacy setting is bothering me. I am aware that part of MS business model is selling as much of my data as they can to the highest bidder and I'm not letting them near the thing until I am in control and have some of the privacy things how I like them. ![]() I am also groping my way thru the W10 privacy setup before making an on-line connection for the first time. I am groping my way towards getting the W10 GUI into some sort of shape that resembles the W7 GUI I have come to know and like. My lovely new W10 DELL Inspiron 3670 machine arrived recently it will I hope replace my old W7 Inspiron 620 that has served me well for eight years. It may be possible to un-screw-it-up however that requires a phone with text messaging, which I don't have, I'm an old geezer with POTS, so I cannot negotiate with MS online at all. Probably this question belongs on a Microsoft forum however unfortunately I am trapped in cyber-hell and unable to contact (any) MS support because my MS account is screwed up. ![]()
